This little tool allows you to determine the bearing of a particular object or feature in your equirectangular panorama.
You need to know this value in order to work out the heading of your panorama.
You can, of course, also do this yourself with any panorama viewer that shows the current viewing coordinates.
Use the file upload form below to load your equirectangular panorama into this display area.
Then, drag the red line to determine the bearing of a particular object or feature in your image.
You're only loading your image locally into this very browser window — nothing is transferred to any server!
As you can see, all this here is rather rough and thrown together quickly in a few late nights.
